There have some lessons would happen when using on a rangefinder camera;
Forget to take off lens cap, losses film, forget turning the right ASA, accidentally open the film case…
I had meet all the above cases cause the photos failure, feeling so nuts! :P

And this time i forget to set my camera back from the bulb mode, when i realized it already taken half roll of film. And of-cause the first part pictures all blur. T.T

Here is some of my favorite film shots

Stallroom between the charcoal

Boat crossing by the Sepetang’s mangrove forest.

Some view when walking way up to the Maxwell’s hill Cafe.

(Shell Refinery at Lukut, first time been to this place, also the first time using film camera in bulb mode, 20 seconds exposure + shutter release cable and tripod)

Some of the film photos snapped during cny, and this time i am trying to scan the negative films myself by the company new Canonscan 4400F scanner. (perhaps future i can save a lot for the scanning fees :P)

The scanning process is quite easy to use. But require to have some of the practice to align well the negative films into the scanner. My scan setting is in 1200DPI, it takes a round 1 minute to proceed 1 picture.
Overall the outcome my for me just regular quality (but the good thing is now i can scan in very high DPI compare with photo shop standard.

(Trying the external flash on the yashica GTN camera, manually hand held bounce flash instead of direct flash to object, seems works to me)

It was really my first time carrying the camera snap shoot around KL, we get into the Pudu wet market and do some features shoot also communicated with the peoples around.

The surprising things was most of the people are just friendly to us. They told us their story, the stuffs they selling, but of course also have some not allow us to take picture and complain, It is really a live practice on a photographer applying this mindset : ‘Ask for forgiveness, Don’t ask for permission’ (shoot first, sorry later!), or use a direct communication if possible, yet the photographer can really get into the environment and can get the shoot they want.

It was real pleasant day to fill up my free time with the gang, and hope this kind of outing can have more!
